NETWORKING - INPUT - COOPERATION - SUPPORT - QUALITY OF LIFE |
PfCONA
was formed in 1985 by Pflugerville residents who wanted to provide a forum for
neighborhood groups to collectively air their concerns and work with the City Council to
resolve problems. |

PURPOSE The purpose of the Pflugerville Council of
Neighborhood Associations (PfCONA) is to serve as a medium to increase citizen input and
involvement in area planning and policy formation, and to facilitate cooperation and
communication between various governmental entities in and around the greater Pflugerville
area. The committee addresses the role in neighborhoods in identifying and
addressing quality of life issues. OBJECTIVES 1. To support model programs for neighborhoods and provide support and expertise to assist neighborhood associations. 2. To establish networking systems with neighborhood organizations, civic organizations, churches, crime watch programs, interested individuals and other entities, that we may collaborate with efforts to maintain a desirable quality of life in the greater Pflugerville area. 3. To become active in promoting the principles of community policing and to incorporate the work of PfCONA with those efforts. 4. To advocate for legislative policies that
directly impact the quality of life in the greater Pflugerville area. Click

into expanding board and doing a leadership roundtable.
